Atletico Madrid gaffer, Diego Simeone has
reportedly agreed terms with Chelsea FC to
become manager of the English football club
from the start of next season.
According to Spanish website- OK Dairo –
Simeone has already made a Gentleman’s
Agreement to take charge of the struggling
defending champions of the English Premier
League.
Simeone is reported to have negotiated a
deal worth £9.28milllion-a-year deal to take
over at Stamford Bridge.
The Argentine, has in the past few seasons,
cemented his status as one of Europe’s
brightest coaches.
Since arriving at the Vicente Calderon in
2011, Simeone has won for Atletico, the
Spanish league title in 2014 while also
finishing as runners-up in the Champions
League final in the same year.
If all goes according to plan and the deal
comes to fruition, Simeone will take over
from stand-in coach, Guus Hiddink for the
2017/2018 league season.
