Ronaldo says Portugal deserves to win Euro 2016 final

Portugal national team captain, Cristiano Ronaldo believes his side deserves to win the Euro 2016 final. The Real Madrid forward scored a goal and made an assist against Wales to see his team progress to the final.

Ronaldo was a teenager when his country lost by a lone goal to Greece at the 2014 decider. The 31-year-old captain said it was a far different situation for Portugal this time, and that his country deserve victory.

“I am very confident and I believe that all these boys deserve it. I deserve it, Portugal deserves it, the fans deserve it – every single Portuguese person deserves it. They have been very supportive.”

“Yes, this time is different. I was 18, that was my first final. My debut. Now 12 years have gone by and now we are going to play another final. I am very proud of that. I have always dreamed of winning for Portugal, I hope it is our turn now. We’ve yet to win anything but it’s the final. I don’t think many people thought that Portugal would make it to the final, but we are there,” Ronaldo said.

Portugal will face the victor between France and Germany in another European decider on Sunday.

“I Caught My Husband Having Wild Sex With My Chief Bridesmaid on Our Wedding Night”

A woman has narrated how her new husband with whom she had just had a wedding, engaged in s*x with her trusted friend who happened to be her chief bridesmaid only some hours after their ceremony.

Below is what she shared:

It was my wedding day and we had ‘fulfilled all righteousness’ required of us by the church and the tradition. I had danced vigorously at the reception just so my flexible husband won’t outdo me. This got me too tired (I didn’t know why Anthony, my husband wasn’t tired) that when we finally got to our hotel room and all I wanted to do was just to shower, cuddle up a bit with my Anthony and then go to bed. My husband wanted otherwise.
He was bent on us (I, himself, Tolu, who is our chief bridesmaid and Osas, our groomsman) going out to have few drinks before we finally retire to our hotel room. The bar my husband wanted was not even close to our hotel. I decided to make him see reasons he should let us stay in our hotel room to celebrate the union, but he was adamant.

Osas left us in the hotel after receiving a call that required him to leave urgently. But Anthony was still bent on us going out for drinks. So, I decided to obey my husband. We went for the drinks. I don’t drink but Anthony and Tolu persuaded me to try my first bottle, the second and probably the sixth, yes, the sixth! All I knew after few bottles was that everything seemed like a dream around me.
I saw myself as the chief bridesmaid, not the bride anymore.
When I woke up in the morning, I knew everything was wrong. I was all alone in bed and my husband was nowhere to be found. I played back the turn of events of the previous night (the ones I could remember, at least) and my heart sank.

I jumped out of my bed to Tolu’s room which was just the next room to ours. In their drunken state, they had forgotten to bolt the door. I pushed the door and it opened. I found my newly wedded husband and Tolu furiously making love, They jumped as soon as they realized I was in the room. My head spun. Tolu ran out before I could get hold of her.
Then I found the note she left by the lamp stand. It revealed how she had been wondering how ‘it would feel’ to have s*x with a newly married man on his wedding night. So she had it all mapped up out. Tolu had been nursing the intention of sleeping with my husband. She also revealed how she got her chance when we got back to the hotel after having the drinks. She said she saw how I wanted to sleep but my husband wanted a piece of the pie even in his drunk state.
She decided to help us (my husband and I) by giving him what he wanted. But the only thing she hated was that my husband kept muttering my name while at it! This happened few weeks ago.
Tolu keeps evading my calls. My husband is also visibly sorry about the awry experience.
I am yet to forgive him because I believe he planned the event of that night well in advance. Otherwise, why did he insist we all go out? Why did he persuade me to drink.
I have moved out of our apartment and staying with a friend in an undisclosed area. I cannot imagine my best friend tasting my man on our first night of being husband and wife.
I need your advice before I do something crazy.

Fuel scarcity looms as PENGASSAN insists on strike action

Despite a proposed meeting with the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, and the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, the leadership of Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has remained firm in its resolve to embark on a strike action on Thursday.

PENGASSAN declared that the strike action would be total as it was called because of the government’s insensitivity to fix some of the issues plaguing the oil and gas sector.

Ngige and Kachikwu are expected to meet with the leadership of PENGASSAN and the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) on Thursday morning with hopes of finding solutions to the problems at hand.

However, as at Wednesday, PENGASSAN’s Public Relations Officer, Emma Ojugbana said he was not aware of any scheduled meeting for Thursday with the Federal Government.

He maintained, while speaking to Vanguard newspaper that the strike would commence and it would be a total shut down of activities.

He said, “The strike will hold today. I am not aware of any meeting organised by anybody with our association. Our leaders in various zones are mobilising and it will start midnight today.”

He further said the association had been pestering the government over Joint Venture Funding and the non-passage of the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) among other issues.

The PIB is still pending at the National Assembly even as the association has not seen any positive results from the government in respect to its requests.

The militant group, Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) has decided to close down all its social media accounts to avoid the undue advantage being taken by impostors.

Before the decision to shut down its social media pages, the Avengers had suffered a cyber blow on Monday when micro-blogging site, Twitter suspended its @NDAvengers account.

The page was taken down as a result of a breach of policy by the users.

In a statement released by the Avengers spokesperson, Mudoch Agbinibo, the militant group uncovered a fake Facebook account posing as the Avengers.

The group warned against using its name and struggle for fraudulent purposes.

It said, the Facebook account “is an impostor page that was open by fraudster to deceive the  general public.

“We warning  any group that wants to do anything should go about their activities without tagging us (Niger Delta Avengers) instead do your activities and claim responsibility.”

The group also denied responsibility for the recent attack carried on the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation pipeline in Eleme.

“The NNPC pipeline in Eleme blowing that was posted by this Facebook account yesterday wasn’t carried out by Niger Delta Avengers.”

Final year student of Abia State Polytechnic kills landlord over girlfriend issues

An Abia State Polytechnic student, identified only as Abel, has killed the landlord of one of the students’ lodges in the Immaculate area of Aba, Abia State.
Abel, a final year student of the Department of Architecture, allegedly stabbed the victim in the stomach during a disagreement at the lodge, Punch Metro reports.

It was learnt that the landlord had ordered that no female visitor was allowed to spend the night in the lodge.
The suspect was alleged to have breached the rule and was challenged by the landlord, which led to a fight between them.
In the ensuing scuffle, the suspect was alleged to have grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim in the stomach, before taking to his heels.

The landlord reportedly died on the spot.  His remains were recovered by the police and deposited in a mortuary.
A student of the institution, who identified herself only as Beatrice, explained that the caretaker of the lodge was the first to notice the breach of the rule, adding that he informed the landlord.

She said the landlord barged into the room and met Abel and his girlfriend naked, which caused the fight.

She said, “The incident happened around 9pm on June 29. The deceased had made a rule that no student living in the lodge should bring a lady to pass the night there. He also made it a rule that every visitor, be it male or female, must leave before night falls.

“However, the suspect brought home a female guest in the evening and both of them went inside his room. The caretaker of the lodge saw them and waited for them to come out, but they didn’t. He then put a call through to the landlord, who hurriedly went to the building around 9pm.

“On arrival, the landlord barged into the student’s room where he met both the lady and the student naked. Instead of excusing himself, he attacked the student with punches. The lady quickly grabbed a wrapper and ran out of the room into another student’s room in the lodge.

“As the confrontation continued, the student stabbed the landlord with a knife, put on his boxers and fled that night, leaving the landlord dead in his room.”

It was learnt that the incident threw the community into confusion as the matter was reported at a police station in the area.

The police were said to have launched a manhunt for the suspect with his picture posted at strategic areas in the school.

When contacted, the Abia State Police Public Relations Officer, Nta Ogbonnaya, confirmed the murder, but said he could not tell what transpired between the suspect and the deceased.

He said the case file had been transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigations, adding that the police would get the fugitive.

He said, “Yes, there is a case of murder involving a student of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, who stabbed his landlord in the stomach. I cannot, however, tell what happened between them. I also don’t know the name of the landlord and the suspect. As I speak with you, the case file has been transferred to the SDCI and we are working with the school authorities to get the details of the suspect.

“I, however, want to advise him that he should submit himself to the police voluntarily. I assure that wherever he decides to go, we will get him and he will face justice.”

‘Nigeria’s elites only think about themselves’ – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday revealed that he he knows how to deal with any person or group that tries to derail the war his administration launched against corruption.

He revealed this during the breaking of his Ramadan fast, Iftar at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja.

The president lamented about the selfishness of the elites in the society when he played host to some physically challenged persons, the Internally Displaced Persons and taxi drivers to mention a few.

He lambasted the elites for being selfish and not thinking in the interest of the country,

“Whoever deter us from fighting corruption will suffer the consequences. It is unfortunate that the elite are self-centered and they only think about themselves.”

“Be assured that we care about you at all times. This government is concerned about your welfare and we will work hard to improve it,” Buhari said.

Other guests at the Villa include artisans such as butchers, hairdressers, barbers, tailors, members of the Buhari Support Organisation, President’s neighbours in Lobito Crescent, and junior workers in the headquarters of the All Progressives Congress.

Buhari was joined at the dinner by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal; the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammed Bello, and some presidential aides as well as top government officials among others.

Senate’s Deputy Chief Whip, Senator Alimikhena Francis represented Senate President Bukola Saraki, who is in Saudi Arabia for the lesser Hajj.

DO YOU AGREE?? 7 Things Girls Don’t Like In A Guy (For Ladies Only)

Image result for ladies image
Almost every lady wants to get married someday but do they, at some point, question why they haven’t said yes to the other proposals in their past? Some ladies find it hard to commit themselves in any kind of relationship because of very few things they claim they don’t like in a guy. Let’s take a look at some of those reasons:

1.) Unintelligent Men
I have a problem with men who are not brilliant, smart or even intelligent. What’s our discussion going to be like? Unintelligent men are shallow and short sighted. They cannot even think for themselves or make sense out of nothing. Most of them can neither create business ideas nor anything that can bring us money. What’s their use?

2.) Lousy Men
These men get me angry every time. Ever being in a gathering where only one guy’s voice tops everyone else’s or he talks when no one wants to listen? It’s different when he’s the life of the party. This one just loves talking and making noise.

3.) Dirty Guys
A man who cares less about his hygiene should be incapable of housing a relationship. These men grow hair under their armpits and manhood region long enough to be a forest. They look shabby all the time. Some even care to wear ironed clothes or comb their hair when coming to meet your parents. Jeez!

4.) Uneducated Men
A rich man without education is not the best ladies. Yes, he can afford everything you want but he dare not open his mouth to make a speech in front of your friends or parents or your bosses. Most ladies get so embarrassed and ashamed of these men in most occasions.

5.) Over Godly Men
No one said a man is not supposed to be God-fearing or be born again. In fact, its great thing to marry or date a man who fears God but these ones in this category are the ones who call Jesus ten times in a conversation of 5 minutes. They don’t fail to remind you of your wrong doings or discourage you from wearing pretty clothes or jewelries. They even insist that makeup is for the devil and listening to Whitney Houston or Celine Dion will lead you to hell.

6.) Violent Men
No woman in her right senses should go for these group of men. These men think beating up a woman is cool, shows their strength and authority in their homes. They treat women like trash for the fun of it. These men are full of pride but the secret is they are suffering from inferiority complex.

7.) Mommy’s Boys
These ones annoy most ladies I know. They run to their mothers for every and any little thing going on in their lives. They also compare us with their mothers. They can forget to get you a gift while on a foreign trip but their mothers always have something expensive. Some of these men always talk about what their mothers have achieved and if not for their mothers, they won’t be the man they are. *Rolling my eyes*

Ramadan fast to continue until new moon is sighted in Nigeria

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has said that Muslims in the country will continue their Ramadan fast on Tuesday as the new moon has not yet been sighted as at Monday night.

The Federal Government on Thursday last week had declared Tuesday and Wednesday to be public holidays in the country in anticipation of the end of the fasting period.

This new development however means that Wednesday, July 6, will be the eid-el-fitr day

The NSCIA had initially expected to sight the moon between Sunday and Monday before the new announcement.

Sa’ad Abubakar III, the NSCIA president-general, announced on Monday night that Nigeria had not seen the new moon of Shawwal and therefore asked Muslims to observe the eid-prayers on Wednesday.

Pastor Oyakhilome To Remarry As Fair-Skinned Ladies Jostle For His Attention

chx
Malice is of a low stature, but it has very long arms and piercing roots. Having extended its reach in the wedlock of presumed Man of God (MoG), Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, it cracked its basement and ripped his family apart inside out.

Even the self-acclaimed evangelist and man of God could not summon the faith and heavenly grace to resist the devastating blows of malice and discord in his marriage.

Little wonder his marriage with his beautiful wife, Anita, crashed like a sand castle.

However, rather than keep a low profile or sulk in private over his inability to save his marriage and practice what he preaches, Pastor Chris is planning to remarry.

According to a source in his church, the dandy cleric is considering taking another wife.

But rather than urge him to reconcile with his wife, they are cheering him on. The ladies in particular have started positioning themselves to fill up the void created by Anita’s departure from his life.

Pastor Chris allegedly gave up on his former wife when it became clear to him that there was no way that they could resolve their differences and save their marriage.

Previous attempts to reconcile the couple by church elders, friends and family had proved futile.

But while her husband prepares to take a new bride, Anita has reverted to her maiden name. She is now to be addressed as Anita Ebhodaghe.

Return Fayemi’s N1.5bn donation to your campaign, Ekiti PDP tells Buhari

Read the press statement below...
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State has told President Mohammadu Buhari to return the N1.5 billion of the State money donated to fund his election by former governor of the State, Dr Kayode Fayemi.
The party said “equity and justice demand that Buhari should return what he got from Ekiti State treasury through Fayemi, if he is running after those who allegedly got money from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).”
State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Jackson Adebayo said in a release issued in Ado-Ekiti on Monday that the N1.5 billion, if returned will go a long way in cushioning the effects of the dwindling economic fortune of the State, especially payment of workers salary.

Fayemi, who is now Buhari’s Minister of Solid Minerals reportedly transferred N1.5 billion from his account in a bank located along Liberation Square, Accra, Ghana to the APC Presidential Campaign Fund account “in other to place him in a vantage position for ministerial appointment should Buhari wins the February 14 Presidential election,” and true to his expectation, he was appointed minister.

“N1.5 billion is a lot of money and Ekiti State government will only need to add some millions to be able to pay one month salary if Buhari returns the money.

“The APC government of Fayemi left office with August and September 2014 salaries of workers unpaid but the same Fayemi could donate N1.5bn to Buhari’s campaign just because he wanted to be minister. Where then is the morality in Buhari’s anti-corruption posture when he was funded with stolen fund? “The President must therefore return the N1.5 billion stolen from Ekiti State that was used to fund his election,” the PDP said.

While reiterating the PDP’s support for the fight against corruption, the party said “President Buhari must first remove the logs in his eyes before his attempt to remove the toothpicks in other people’s eyes can be taken seriously and the first step he must take is to return the N1.5 billion he got from Fayemi to fund his election.”

46-year-old man arrested months after he impregnated 10-year-old girl and fled to Haiti

Raymond Vincent, a 46-year-old Florida resident, impregnated a 10-year-old girl, earlier this year and fled. According to the Sun Sentinel, when he heard that his victim was pregnant, Vincent fled Florida and headed to Haiti, but on Friday afternoon, July 1, U.S. marshals were able to capture him in Port-au-Prince.

Once Vincent was apprehended, marshals returned him to South Florida, where he was turned over to detectives at the Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s Career Criminal Unit.

Golden said U.S. Marshals in the Dominican Republic worked with Haitian National Police and U.S. State Department investigators for several months to lovate Vincent.
"The Haitian National Police were there for several days watching certain locations in Haiti to determin where he was before they too him into custody," Golden said.
Vincent was promptly arrested and charged with one count of sexual battery on a child, as well as one count of lewd and lascivious conduct for his assault on the child.
"If you are a fugitive and you want to be a fugitive and you think fleeing the U.S. is going to save you? Think again" said Senior Inspector Barry Golden, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals.
The little girl was brought to the attention of detectives by Broward Health Medical Center on February 13, where they were called in because of obvious sexual battery of a child. The 10-year-old, who had been brought in to receive medical attention because of stomach pain, was found to be pregnant.

A police report details the disturbing encounters between Vincent and the 10-year-old girl. In December or January, the girl told the detectives, she fell asleep on the couch, but was awakened when she felt Vincent slip his hand down her pants. When she opened her eyes, she stated, she saw Vincent hovering over her sleeping form. He then quickly pulled his hand from her pants, beneath the blanket, the report stated

In an effort to cover up with act, Vincent turned to another child, who was also asleep on the couch, and pretended to adjust that child’s position while the child slept.

The little girl who had been inappropriately touched by Vincent ran away from the man, locked herself in the bedroom, and alerted her mother. Vincent was charged with lewd and lascivious conduct in connection with that particular incident.

This is not even the first time Vincent has been accused of molesting a child. Fort Lauderdale police arrested him in January of 2012 for luring a girl under the age of 12 years into his home with food. The little girl told authorities that Vincent groped and fondled her, and tried to pull her into his lap. She also stated that Vincent had molested her at least twice before that incident, as well. Even though he faced multiple counts of lewd molestation, court records show that a jury acquitted him.

He is now being held at Broward Main Jail on charges of sexual battery on a child and lewd and lascivious conduct.
