IMSU STUDENT LEADERS GIVES IMO STATE GOVERNMENT, ASUU, NASU AND SANU 72HOURS TO CALL THEM BACK TO SCHOOL OR BE READY TO CONTAIN WITH ANY REACTION WHICH WILL COME NEXT.
Yesterday the 19th day of April 2016, numerous student leaders of Imo State University convened to an impromptu meeting, to give their maximum solidarity to their clarion call on "OPERATION END IMSU STRIKE NOW".
While the meeting lasted for over 6hours, they resolved to mandate the Imo State Government, Asuu and other concerned bodies to call off the already lingered 30day old strike within 72hours or be ready to contain with the accumulated grievances of the over 27,000 students of IMSU which will come like a heavy down pour in the state anytime soon.
The 15th republic SUG Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ugwueke Jonathan with the entire leaders in the meeting were able to manage the high tension that was raised on ground which nearly prompted us to embark on an emergency reaction in the state immediately, revealing the height of dissatisfaction and disappointed which the students expressed over the strike and the state government's Lackadaisical move to continue keeping us at home.
The meeting was honored by past and present SUG senators, SUG executive members, Past and Present Faculty Presidents, past and present departmental presidents, Past SUG Presidential aspirants, Class representatives and dogged comrades across the faculties.

Just in: update on the strike after todays meeting by ASUU & NASU IMSU chapter
Today there was a meeting held by IMSU ASUU delibrate about the ongoing strike,
the meeting which started at about 10am today at the new ETF building. Was concluded some hours ago
And guess what?..... The strike continues indefinitely till the demands of ASUU and NASU, IMSU chapter are met. They are requesting for their January and February Salaries. What a world how are these lecturers coping without salary and Now that we are in April, they might include March salary in their demands.
2 weeks gone and concrete agreement has been heard from the Imo State Governor, His Excellency Anayo Rochas Okorocha.

Couple of people have been spreading some rumurs on the strike being called off, but all these are not true, informatin reaching us from the office of the Director of information Imsu SUG says its yet to be called off, read below

As it Stands now the Indefinite Strike is still on, and the Academic Staff union of Universities, ASUU Imsu chapter is about having their meeting with the state Government and we have promised to come up with the outcome of the meeting immediately after the meeting,
We have Adviced our students to kindly call to hear from us for you not to be misinform by this Mischievous miscreant who post false message with my Office just to cause havock and misinform students .
My dear Imo Stars, sorry for whatsoever Damage this people must have caused now.is one of the Challenges we face in Information Sector but I promise we must surely fish out the pioneer of this Media crisis with my office.

Imsu student shot at backgate.
An undergraduate of Imo state university marketing student and a final year student was shot this evening in front of his hostel by some unknown gun men, the police came in, tho' investigations are still going on. The young man rushed to the hospital for medication no one knows if he's alive or dead.... we'll bring more update your way.

We'v always seen celebrities beef them self over relevant issues and some times over irrelivant issues too, after we heard about the olamide & Don jazzy beef, another beef is about setting in and this time its between lambasixx and yung jeff (aka imsu phyno) a morehill signee. These two began being rude to them selves while argueing who should have won the headies next rated award see there chats in the group below;

IMSU lecturer/HOD allegedlyteaching with fake certificate
Facebook, ICPC officials stormed IMSU last
Friday to arrest the lecturer but he fled.
Here's what Miss Anyanwu Miracle, who has
been canvassing for removal of Dr Igbe,
wrote on Facebook:
DANGER LOOMS AS ICPC STORMS IMSU WHILE
COMPUTER SCIENCE HOD ESCAPES INVESTIGATION...
The Head of department of computer science, Imo State
University, Mr. Chukwudi Igbe on friday the 18th of
December 2015 escaped an investigative panel as his
office was raided by the Independent Corrupt practices
and other related offences commission (ICPC) who
unofficially stormed the University campus without
informing the Dean faculty of science and the entire
management of Imo state University having been written
officially over an alleged Certificate Scam and forgery by
the said HOD of the department.
The commission which stormed the institution said they
came due to a 15 page strong worded petition with
some backed up evidence sent to them by some
concerned Bsc, Msc & Phd students in the department.
The Commission said they were hugely disappointed not
to have met the Head of Department of Computer
Science on sit at about 11:00am when they arrived.
They took up investigations to some students of the
department who gave them useful information which
was corresponding with the petition filed against the
HOD.
*First student* (name witheld) said: "My HOD does not
know how to teach. He hardly talks about any topic he
introduces to the class. His textbooks are all pirated and
rubbish. None of them has ISBN number and are hard
to understand." She stated.
*The Second Student* who was very aggresive said: "MY
HOD is an evil man. He compels lecturers to
intentionally fail us upon our efforts. It is no more news
in the department that he doesnt have a genuine
certificate and we are going to raise the alarm next year
when the school resumes. He claims to be a church man
but he is very evil and a devil incarnet. He is just a
natural saddist and now we have known that he has no
certificate, we shall deal with him on that aspect." he
stated.
*The third student* who cried while speaking to them
said: "I was stepped down with 4 missing scripts just
because I have no one to speak for me. My Hod asked
me to even drop out and join mechanic work. My HOD
cannot write any programming code because he doesnt
know anything in computer science field, the only thing
he knows and derives joy in doing is to fail students.
God will pay him back and Karma will never spare his
family." he cried.
Upon leaving the school, the commission assured the
students to sanction the Dean of Faculty of Science, the
deputy Vice Chancellor on academics, The Vice
Chancellor, the personnel, the registrar, the Bursar and
the National Universities Commission (NUC) for shielding
evil and corruption in Imo state University Owerri after
their investigations are concluded on the petition.
I, Miracle Anyanwu and other well meaning Imo stars
wishes to call upon the state government to rescue us
from these unqualified teachers without certificates and
expose all of them who eat undeserved fat salaries from
the state subvention given to Imo state University.
