Former Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Adesola Amosu, has been arrested by the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Amosu is being detained by the EFCC over allegations of massive fraud in the
procurement of arms during his tenure.
According to Sahara Reporters, Amosu is being investigated for authorizing the purchase of two helicopters without
functional rotors, among other allegations.
EFCC investigators have reportedly traced nine luxury homes to Amosu, one of which is in the Government Reservation Area (GRA) of
Ikeja in Lagos State, which is estimated to be
more than N350 million.
