Nnewi on fire again, fuel station burnt down.

A popular Petrol Station, Organizer Filling
station located at Amuko Junction,
Nnewichi Nnewi Anambra State, Monday
was up in flames.
According to reports, a tanker dispensing
fuel and a car were destroyed in the
inferno.
Less than two weeks ago, over eight
people lost their lives during the gas plant
explosion in the town.
No life was, however, lost in the inferno.
The fire according to an eye witness was
said to started around 6:20am, and would
have been controlled if fire fighters were
around early, those who later came, had
no water in their tanks as they were seen
collecting gallons of water from people in
the area.
“The fire may have been caused by the fuel
tanker that was dispensing products while
sale of fuel was in progress, as one of the
cars refilling at the time of the incident got
burnt completely as well as the tanker” he said.
