The 28 feet statue, Jesus De Greatest, which will be the fifth
tallest statue in Africa, will be unveiled at St. Aloysius
Catholic Church in the Abajah local government area of Imo
state, on January 1, 2016. The statue was funded and
offered to the church by Obinna Onuoha, founder of Premier
Petroleum Limited.
According to a statement signed by Onuoha's rep, the
statue has a total weight of 40 tons and is made of marble.
Onuoha, an indigene of Abajah, and a devout catholic, is a
graduate of York St. Johns University in the United Kingdom
and the Harvard Business School
