Ooni of Ife, Oba Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi,
Ojaja II, predicts that Nigeria would
overcome the present economic and security
challenges.
According to the Ooni of Ife, Nigerians are
thoroughbreds in the school of surviving.
The monarch says Nigeria has a history of
overcoming challenges and surmounting
encumbrances, and that Nigerians
are innately resilient and can survive in any
situation.
Oba Ogunwusi said on Tuesday, that this is
not the first time the country would be
going through hard times.
He gave the assurance in his residence in Ile-
Ife, when visited by the management of
Nigerian Breweries.
The Ooni of Ife said: “The country has gone
through too many circles of recession but
always overcome it through our resilience
and perseverance.”
