Nigerian Army intercepts, neutralizes Boko Haram suicide bombers

The Nigerian Army, on Friday, disclosed that its troops in the Northeast have successfully
foiled an attempted suicide bombing by Boko Haram insurgents during the early hours of Friday.
According to a statement by the Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani
Kukasheka Usman, the terrorist were intercepted and neutralized by the Nigerian
army at Jimini-Bolori village, in Borno State.
The bombs attached to the suicide bombers were successfully deactivated by the Nigerian police and other bomb experts.
The statement reads that: “Today, at about 4.00am troops of 101 Battalion of 7 Division received a tip off about impending attack in
Maiduguri city by 4 suspected Boko Haram terrorists suicide bombers from Sambisa
forest through Cashew Plantation.
