Nigerian housewife and mum of one in search of another child, reveals how she was raped by Medical Doctor.
Mrs Oluwatoyin Bello is a housewife who
about two weeks ago, reported a case of
alleged rape by her fertility doctor to the
police in Ikeja, Lagos. She now gives a full
detail of how the Doctor abused
her...excerpts:
Can you the world exactly what happened
between you and Dr. Olusola on April 9?
Few weeks ago, I was watching a TV
programme on health issues and Dr Yemi was
the guest. He discussed extensively the pos
sible causes and cure of infertility. It was as
if he was talking to me because I have tried
severally to conceive a baby without success.
My first son is 24 years and since then, I
have been searching for the fruit of the
womb. As I listened to their discussion, I
quickly recorded his number, which was
scrolling on the TV screen.
Few minutes after the programme, I called
the man and told him what I was going
through and that I’m unable to get pregnant.
He asked me to come to his office at no 4
Ipodo Street, Ikeja.
I did not know the area very well, and that
discouraged. I was living with my parents at
Surulere when I separated from my husband
18 years ago. We separated when our son was
barely six years old. In 2012, we reconciled
and had a court wedding at Ojokoro registry.
We relocated to Ifako Ijaye where we live till
date.
Ever since we reconciled, I have tried to
conceive and give my husband a second child
but all that had failed.
On Saturday April 9, I was lying on the bed
thinking about life and the thought came
again that I should try and call the doctor
again. I called the doctor and he said that he
was in his office and explained to me how to
locate his office. I got there later in the day
and collected a card, following which the
nurse checked my blood pressure and weight.
When the doctor’s office was free, she asked
me to go in and I did. I told him how I was
feeling; he wrote some tests that I would do
on a paper and said that I should give the
paper to the nurse.
It was the nurse that did the calculation and
said that my bill would be about N38, 000
and above. I said that was too much. The
nurse advised me that I should meet the
doctor and explain things to him. I went back
to the doctor and he said that he would give
me 15% discount. He wrote it on a paper and
asked me to hand the paper over to the
nurse.
Then, I asked the doctor if I could come back
another day since I didn’t have such money
on me and he said that I could come back but
that there were two tests that I needed to do
on that day. He asked me the last time I saw
my monthly period and I told him. He told
me that the test was supposed to start on
Friday (April 8) but I can do some that day
(Saturday, April 9) and return Monday since
on that Saturday, I asked him what the
discount of the two tests was and he said I
should pay N8500 which I did. The nurse told
the doctor, that I had paid. The doctor then
asked me to go inside the office where the
instrument that would be used for the test
was kept.
When I entered the room, he asked me to
remove my long skirt and pant and lie on the
couch. There was something like TV where I
would be seeing what was happening inside
my body.
How high was the couch?
It is as high as this table but much longer
(making reference to an office table). I
removed my pant and he said I should spread
my legs; he then took an instrument that he
told me was known as Probe. He wore a
condom on it and inserted it inside my vagina
and asked me to open my legs very wide. He
was gradually inserting it in and out of my
vagina. At a point he removed the instrument
and started fondling with my clitoris, I
pushed his hands away but he said I shouldn’t
do that. He said that he would not get the
exact result that he needed to conclude the
test if I pushed his hands away.
He said that there was a fluid that I would
discharge and if he felt it, it would be
slippery like Okro. At a point, he brought out
my breast and squeezed it and watery
substance came out. I told him that I
detected it, and he said that I had
shomurowo (a Yoruba word to describe the
condition of her breast.) He continued to
squeeze my breast and by then, I decided to
close my eyes and concentrate. He pushed
something inside me again which I assumed
was the Probe. I noticed that he adjusted my
body again by drawing my buttocks to the
edge of the couch. I was carried away and I
never knew that the instrument that was
inserted again was actually his penis until I
heard him moan out aloud when he wanted to
ejaculate. I opened my eyes and realized that
he was actually having sex with me. I
screamed when I realised he was about to
release. I jumped down and he started
pampering me that I should not shout.
He removed the condom, dropped it in the
waste-bin and was washing his hands. I was
crying but he was begging me not to cry. He
then called the nurse and by the time the
nurse entered, I stood up and cleaned my
eyes. The lady (nurse) was looking at me when
she realized that I was in shock. He told the
nurse should take my blood.
Do you know the name of the nurse?
Yes, her name is nurse Bimbo.
She continued the test and detected that
there was a stain of blood, and it was not
supposed to be so. He then said that because
of the blood that was detected, the blood
sample that was taken was of no use. It was
raining heavily, so I had to stay back a bit. He
first of all did a scan on me before he used
the instrument that he inserted in my vagina.
As I was going back home, before I got to the
railway line in Ikeja, I saw a government
secretariat and noticed a police station beside
it. I walked in and saw a man at the counter
and I narrated my ordeal to the policeman at
the station. As a man, he could not hold
himself and started shedding tears.
He told me that they do not treat such case
there, that it is only traffic cases they
handled there. He told me that I should go to
Area F police command and report the
matter. Then, it was late, so I could not go to
Area F to report. My husband picked me at
the bus stop and on our way home, he tried
to get me to chat with him but I kept my face
straight. He noticed that I was not happy. He
asked what the problem was and the fact that
I couldn’t talk until the following day, being
Sunday. Even on that Sunday, because of my
mood, I mistakenly bruised my leg. I later
explained to my husband what happened to
me. He was shocked and asked if I had any
evidence and I told him that I could not even
shout.
My husband was also confused that such a
thing could happen to me. I told him that I
did not know what happened.
He told me to go back there on Monday with
my phone and record all my conversation
with the doctor. When I got there and we
discussed what happened on that day, he said
that I should not worry that he has interest in
me. I told him that he should have sought my
permission and if I was interested, I would let
him know. He said that I should forget
everything and start my treatment.
I then asked him about the test that he said
that I should do. He gave me a paper and
said that I should go and meet the nurse. He
wrote N11, 000 on the paper. I asked him,
how would I pay N11, 000. I reminded him
that the N8,500 that I paid on Saturday was
of no use since he cancelled the test.
He said that he did some test for me after I
left. I told him that I didnt have such an
amount that I wanted to pay N10, 000. All
these were intended to play along with him so
that he would allow me to leave that place.
Even on that Saturday that he raped me, I
assumed that it was his usual way. If I
shouted, they might kill me because we were
not more than three in that house. I told him
that I didn’t have that kind of money except I
went to the bank. He asked me which of the
banks and I said, Skye bank.
The doctor, during his visit said that you
met him at the police station and you de
nied that he raped you. Did you ever
deny?
I never denied. Even the Area Commander
said that I should come with my husband and
I thank God that I informed him earlier. I
even thank God that I told my husband
because it would have been embarrassing if
he heard it from the police. I told them that
my husband is a busy man; he leaves home as
early 4 am because of traffic and returns
home very late.
I suggested that I would collect my android
phone from my son and get a video of him
narrating the story so that they would not
assume that I rented a husband. I also vol
unteered to come with our family pictures.
But one policewoman advised me that for
anyone to believe me, I should go with my
husband so that they would see him one-on-
one. I pleaded with my IPO to send a text to
my husband that the Area Commander
wanted to see him, so that he could show it
to his boss. The woman did so and my
husband was able to take a day off to join me
at the police station on Friday (April 15).
After the whole conversation, the Area
Commander said that there is no concrete
evidence; that if they get to the court, they
will look stupid. At that point, I became
devastated because I do not have anyone to
fight for me except God.
It was at that juncture that I said that I left
everything in the hands of God. I brought out
my Bible, dropped it on the floor and stood
on it. I told him that as a pastor , he knew
what it meant to swear with the Holy Bible
and that if I had lied against him, all the
curses inside this Bible should come upon me
but if I did not lie against him, may almighty
God judge him.
The Area Commander said that they do not
believe in swearing with the Bible that it is an
ordinary paper. From there, the Area
Commander said that he was not saying that I
should withdraw the case. They are
continuing with their investigation but
pending the final decision, I should not take
the case to another place. I said that I would
be glad if they will continue with the
investigation.
Even the nurse denied our conversation after
the incident. On that Saturday night after I
got home, I called the nurse Bimbo and
explained what happened to me and she said
that the doctor was fond of sleeping with his
patients. She told me that the man is even a
pastor at Winners Chapel and most of the
ladies that came to their clinic always call to
complain. So, when she was invited to the
police station, she denied that I never
reported such a thing to her. She claimed
that what I told her was that the doctor
inserted the instrument inside me and told
me that I should not be angry.
The Area Commander said that it is a normal
procedure, if it is about what the doctor said
that he wanted to detect, why would the
nurse be begging me not to get angry. The
doctor had explained that if they want to
have that kind of test, they must insert an
instrument inside my private part. How come
would this woman be complaining that they
inserted that instrument inside her and you
are begging that she should not be offended?
The nurse just said that I did not complain
that the doctor had sex with me.
On that last day that I went with my husband,
they now said that they would go the network
provider and see if they can recall that
conversation. I gave them the numbers but
they could only get the day, time and
number. We were asked to go until they
called us back. I did not write any withdrawal
statement.
Did you observe the colour of his under
wear?
I only noticed that when I quickly stood up,
he was yet to pull up his trouser. I was even
telling the Area Commander that if I had
wanted to lie against him, I would pretend
that the wound I sustained at home was
inflicted on me by the doctor when we were
struggling. I will never lie against him because
I believe that there is God and He will fight
my battle.
What exactly do you want government
and some of the human right
organizations interested in this case do to
help your situation?
All I want is justice, so that this man wont continue doing same to other innocent women
Amoo: Eagles’ AFCON Failure Won’t Affect Olympic Squad
Assistant coach of Nigeria U-23s, Fatai Amoo, has
insisted that the team is not
under pressure to perform at the Olympic Games following the Super Eagles’ failure to
qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
After the Eagles failed to qualify for the 2017 AFCON, attention is now on the U-23 Eagles, who will be featuring at this summer’s Rio Olympic Games. The reigning Africa U-23 AFCON champions are in Group B with Japan, Colombia and Sweden.
“Pressure is something anybody cannot do without in life. Having said that, I will say
we are not under pressure to perform at the Olympics. It’s all about how we prepare,” Amoo, who led the team to beat Brazil in a friendly in the absence of head coach Samson Siasia in March, told
Completesportnigeria.com.
“Because the Super Eagles didn’t qualify for the Nations Cup does not mean we
should now put ourselves under unnecessary pressure to do well.
“I remember in 1996, the Super Eagles did not take part in the Nations Cup in South
Africa and the U-23 team went on to win the gold that same year in Atlanta. And when you compare it to now, it is
something similar. But I don’t think because of that we should now pressure
ourselves to do the same thing. “I believe this is the time for us to be strong, get the best players and also
prepare adequately. Maybe when thevOlympics are close, that is when we might start feeling the pressure which is normal. But for now there is nothing like that.”
Naira weakens slightly against dollar as Buhari says devaluation never paid Nigeria any good
The naira weakened slightly against the dollar at the parallel market on Friday
as it exchanged at N321 to the dollar.
Also President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said that his reason for insisting on no further devaluation of Naira was that the recent ones never paid Nigeria any
good.
The Nigerian currency lost N1 to the dollar from N320 rate on Wednesday. The naira also fell against the pound sterling and the Euro on Friday to N452 and N362, respectively from their previous rates of N450 and N360.
The naira still maintained N197 to the dollar at the official CBN segment of the
market.
Traders said that activities in the market were still low due to late implementation
of the 2016 budget.
They said that the budget would indicate the direction of the economy in 2016.
Also President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said that his reason for insisting on no further devaluation of Naira was that the recent ones never paid Nigeria any
good.
The president who spoke while meeting with members of the Council of Retired
Federal Permanent Secretaries, led by Otunba Christopher Tugbobo at the
presidential villa, Abuja stated that he was yet to be convinced by anyone on doing
the contrary.
"When I was military Head of State, the IMF and the World Bank wanted us devalue the Naira and remove petrol
subsidy but I stood my grounds for the good of Nigeria. "The Naira remained strong against the Dollar and other foreign currencies until I
was removed from office in August, 1985 and it was devalued. "But how many factories were built and
how many jobs were created by the devaluation?
"That is why I'm still asking to be convinced today on the benefits of devaluation," he said President Buhari also accepted the Council's pledge of support for the successful implementation of his
administration's change agenda, especially in the priority areas of improving security, curbing corruption and revitalizing the national economy.
"I am glad you have rightly identified the key issues we campaigned on.
"We need a dynamic bureaucracy which will not mislead us into taking wrong
decisions," the President said.
The Council of Retired Federal Permanent Secretaries was established in 2004 to
serve as a platform for retired permanent secretaries to offer constructive advice to
government on key policy issues. Also speaking, the Pioneer Chairman of the
Council, Chief Philip Asiodu said that members of the council want the present
Administration to succeed, stressing that Nigeria had already lost many opportunities for progress.
"We are non-partisan. The interest of Nigeria is paramount to us and we are
anxious that you should succeed," Chief Asiodu told the President.

5 Real Reasons Why Nigerian GirlsCan’t Do Without Make Up
Are you one of those who do not see the need for women to wear make up?
Well, we brings you 6
reasons some Nigerian girls can’t do without makeup.
1. Are you sick? Many people don’t
want people thinking they are sick or depressed, so they just put their make up on. These kind of questions pop up
many times on a day a woman
doesn’t have her make up on.
2. Increase Confidence: For instance, some women have a lot of pimples on their faces. This sort of gives them low
self esteem but with make up on, its like they got their groove on and could conquer any territory.
3. Its fun: It is an aret. Women
automatically feel like Napoleon or Da vinci when they apply their make
up. It gives women the right to play with colours and express themselves while bringing to bare their other sides.
4. Feel pretty: Its not like most
women feel ugly without it (although some of them do) but wearing make up properly makes many women very
prettier.
5. Self love: Many people are of the opinion that women who wear makeup do it to get the attention of guys, but the fact, women who wear makeup, do it for themselves. It makes some of them happier and feel better about themselves.

IMSU STUDENT LEADERS GIVES IMO STATE GOVERNMENT, ASUU, NASU AND SANU 72HOURS TO CALL THEM BACK TO SCHOOL OR BE READY TO CONTAIN WITH ANY REACTION WHICH WILL COME NEXT.
Yesterday the 19th day of April 2016, numerous student leaders of Imo State University convened to an impromptu meeting, to give their maximum solidarity to their clarion call on "OPERATION END IMSU STRIKE NOW".

The 15th republic SUG Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ugwueke Jonathan with the entire leaders in the meeting were able to manage the high tension that was raised on ground which nearly prompted us to embark on an emergency reaction in the state immediately, revealing the height of dissatisfaction and disappointed which the students expressed over the strike and the state government's Lackadaisical move to continue keeping us at home.

Nigeria will soon start exporting to China – CBN governor
Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele has revealed that the agreement signed between Nigeria
and China will be beneficial to both countries.
During a press conference at the World Bank headquarters in Washington, TheCable reports that Emefiele said the
government of Nigeria is ‘talking with China’ to have the Asian country importing some items from Nigeria so that the difference in trading between the two countries would be reduced.
The CBN governor also revealed that part of Nigeria’s agreement with China is to become the Asian country’s trading hub in West Africa.
“China has appointed South Africa as its trading hub for Remnibi transactions in the south African region, has appointed Kenya as its trading hub for east and central Africa.”
“And Nigeria, the mandate that we signed is for us to be appointed as the trading hub in the West African sub
region. In all, we expect that it is going to be mutually beneficial.
“We are talking to China so that it would also be importing some of its own items from Nigeria, so that the trading balance can be sort of reduced.”
“Will Nigeria benefit from this? I want to say categorically that Nigeria benefits from this. It’s less pressure on the
dollar and consequently on our reserves.”
Emefiele further said Nigeria’s apex bank could not go on with the devaluation of the currency without ensuring that
necessary structural reforms are in place.
“For the first time, we are taking structural reforms seriously in the country. We’ve always talked about, oh, when you do an adjustment, follow it up with structural
reforms.” “But we are saying this time we’ve done an adjustment and we are following it up with structural reform, where we are saying we must diversify the economy away from depending on oil.”
“I’ve said it that we have seen people who are coming in an investing, during the china trip, we saw people who said
they can now come in instead of exporting those items into Nigeria, they can now bring those plants into Nigeria and begin to produce those things in Nigeria because our climate is good.”
“I repeat, what is the raw material for fertilizer? It is gas. We have it in large quantity; when you bring in the plant,
you don’t need to import any raw material again. We are seeing the green light at the end of the tunnel; we just want people to show understanding.”
Shocking ! Prophet Anoints Church Members ’ Panties to Protect Them Against Evil Spirit
A prophet has started anointing the panties of his church members to prevent them from being attacked by evil spirits.
According to DailySun SA, the controversial prophet, whose real name is Paseka Motsoeneng, made the revelation during an interview on JACARANDA FM this morning.
In the interview, the prophet famed for his alleged ascention to heaven where he claimed to have taken pictures of, explained that the underwear anointed by
him will keep his church members safe from evil spirits.
“Instead of laying my hand, we call that the transferation of the anointing. I speak the Word to those underwears. The power of God will get in, they wear it and God does something,” he said.
He also warned about the terrors of invisible men known as “spiritual husbands” that stalk ordinary
people’s houses, sleeping with both men and women. According to him, these spiritual husbands r*pe, cause
horror and agony in people’s lives, including causing vaginal discharge, menstrual disorders, sexual transmitted diseases and men’s 4-5s to stop functioning.
Wicked!! See How Mum’s Neighbour Lures Teenage Girl with Cake and R*pes Her
A 13yrs old girl who is still in primary six, identified as Princess, has been allegedly r*ped by an okada rider in a hotel on Yemi Aderemi Street, Igbede, in the Ajangbadi area of Lagos.
The name of the hotel was given as Julia Guest House.
The 40-year-old okadaman, Mr Uche Imo, was arrested by the police from the Isokoko division, while the manager of the hotel, who was accused of aiding
the act, was invited for interrogation.
It was gathered that Imo and the pupil were neighbours on Tijani Street, Ajangbadi, and he was employed by Princess’ mother to be taking her and her sister to school.
Imo, a father of five, was said to have lured the 13-year-old girl with cake into the hotel. He had reportedly slept with her in the facility four different.times.
According to Punch, in one of the instances, Princess declined going inside the hotel room with the suspect, but the manager, William, reportedly persuaded her to follow him in.
The mother of the pupil said she got to know about the ‘s*xual relationship’ between her daughter and Imo on February 14, 2016, after he brought Princess and her sister back from an outing on that day.
She said, “Baba Joy (Imo) was my neighbour and was the one taking my children to school. I paid him N200
every day. On February 14, he came to me and said he wanted to take them out and I allowed him. He bought meat pie and ice cream for them. When they came back, Helen said I should ask her sister
(Princess) what happened between her and Baba Joy.
“I asked her, but she denied that anything happened between them. It was when I started beating her that she confessed that Baba Joy had s*x with her, and
that it had been happening for long.”
Princess told the police that the Abia State-born Mr Imo had been r*ping her since December 2015, adding that he usually gave her cake.
She said, “I am in primary six and live on the same street with Baba Joy. In December 2015, he took me to the hotel and had s*x with me. I did not want to
enter, but the hotel manager said I should. He had taken me there four times and he usually bought cake for me.”
Princess was taken to the Mirabel Centre, a human rights organisation, at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital and the case was subsequently reported to the police.
Mr Imo, in his statement to the police, confessed to the act, saying the hotel manager was aware of it.
“I am married with five children. My first child is in Senior Secondary School two (SS2). I lived at the back of Princess’ house before I parked out in January. I told her I liked her. Whenever she had a
chance, she would call me from a business centre and I would pick her up where she was, take her to the hotel and have s*x with her.
“There was a day I took her to the hotel and she did not want to enter. The manager pleaded with her on my behalf. I paid N500 for an hour,” he said.
But the 55-year-old manager, who admitted that Imo was his customer, claimed he had warned him to stop
bringing the minor to the hotel.
A police prosecutor, Sergeant Francisca Okere, brought Mr Imo before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court on two counts bordering on r*pe.
He pleaded not guilty before the presiding magistrate, Mrs. A.O. Adegbite, and was granted bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum. The case was adjourned till April 21, 2016, for trial.

Sad story of how a motorist burnt to death after buying fuel in Festac
A 45-year-old man has been burnt to death at the C Close, FESTAC Town, Lagos State, after a keg of fuel in his car caught fire.
PUNCH Metro gathered that the victim had bought the fuel from a filling station in the
neighbourhood around 3am on Saturday and had driven his Peugeot 307 car home safely.
Something was, however, said to have triggered a fire in the car, which engulfed the
victim. Efforts by firefighters from the Lagos State Fire Service to save the situation were abortive, as he was burnt to death.
An official of the fire service, Amodu Shakiru, said no one knew the victim was in the car
until his relatives came.
Shakiru, who spoke for the Director of the state fire service, Rasak Fadipe, said although investigations were ongoing, the agency suspected that the victim had a lighter or cigarette in the car.
He said, “We met the fire raging and we were able to stop the spread. It was after we put out the fire that his family members showed
up and we all started looking for him. When he could not be found, we searched the car
and found his charred remains in the vehicle.”

600 foreigners cancel flights to Ghana after TB Joshua’s terror prophecy
The fear and panic following increasing terror threats heightened by a doom prophecy by T.B. Joshua, prevented
over 600 foreign nationals from attending an international programme being held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), Ghana.
The prophecy by T.B. Joshua, founder and leader of Synagogue Church of all Nations, according to organisers, has put fear in the international participants from Europe, America, Asia, and even other African countries, hence, the cancellation of their flights to Ghana.
The daily heritage was reliably informed that the spouses and relatives of some of the participants stopped the foreigners from travelling to Ghana for fear of being
attacked by terrorists.
The programme, ‘Africa-Israel initiative, Ghana’ which began on Wednesday, April 13 and will end today had an incredibly low turnout on the opening day though
organisers had assurances of participation weeks ago.
The food, drinks and water meant for the invited guests had to be sent to the Osu children’s home to avoid wastage.
On Saturday April 10, Prophet T.B. Joshua during a live church service aired on Emmanuel TV channel warned of
possible terrorist attack in Ghana and Nigeria. ‘I am seeing Thursday, Friday and Saturday – if I may say Thursday – because these evil people they are very funny. Anything can just happen. You will be very shocked to see what will happen, because when the prayer is going in this
direction them (attackers) change to (another) direction.’
He predicted.
While stressing that the attack would happen this month, the prophet urged the congregation to pray for Ghana and
Nigeria. Confirming the effects of the prophecy on the programme,
the country director of the Africa-Israel initiative, Rev. Perey Gilbert Apreala told the daily heritage that indeed the
prophecy was responsible for the low turnout. ‘He has caused fear and panic among the foreigners so they could not attend the event for fear of any terrorist
attack,’ Rev. Apreala stated.
The three day conference seeks to strengthen Ghana-Israel relationship, as well as promote Israeli technology and how to tap into the new trends to drive businesses in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
At the conference grounds, security was very tight. Individuals were screened at the main gate and before entering the AICC.
Some of the Ghanaian participants the paper spoke to expressed disquiet about the development, but noted that
the programme was educative and the knowledge they have acquired would be utilized to transform their various work
places.

10 Reasons Relationships Fail
The source of these problems for couples is Human Sexuality by Roger Hock – yes, it’s a boring title, but it’s got some fantastic insights into romantic relationships. It’s not just about sex, it’s about how couples communicate.
1. Broken promises, lying, cheating, stealing; These violations of trust almost always result in relationship problems, and is an obvious reasons a
relationship fails. If the basic trust in a love relationship is repeatedly broken, problems accumulate and the motivation to stay together decreases. Couples in loving relationships can learn to
reconcile their differences – and even survive a physical or emotional affair without anger or bitterness.
2. Imbalance of power in relationships;
Couples may be more likely to break up when one partner has more decision-making power than the other. When one person makes all the decisions
about activities, friends, financial matters, household matters, and vacations, the relationship isn’t balanced or loving, and quickly becomes unstable. Both partners should equally share the decision making power.
3. Acceptance of stereotypes in relationships; This was once a more common reason relationships failed, but it still exists today! Mistaken gender myths
include beliefs such as “Men should earn more money than women” or “Women should stay at home and raise the kids.” If couples believe these.stereotypes, they create false expectations that can lead to splitting up.
4. Isolation from friends and family;
This reason for splitting up is based on fear and insecurity; new couples may isolate themselves from other people because they’re “in love and want to be
together.” A brief period of cocooning is normal for many couples, but it’s far healthier to interact with other people regularly.
5. Lack of self-knowledge;
If one or both partners aren’t in tune with their own interests, needs, desires, future plans, goals, values, and preferences, then it’s difficult for them to build a better marriage or healthy love relationship. Self-knowledge helps partners communicate who they are and what they want in a relationship, which can
prevent problems.
6. Low self-esteem, insecurity, and
lack of self-confidence Relationships fail because one partner feels unworthy
of being loved. This insecurity can lead to
possessiveness and dependence, which isn’t healthy for either partner in the love relationship. Couples break up because of insecurity and jealousy.
7. Excessive jealousy – one of the
most common reasons relationships
fail “Jealousy is cited as one of the most frequent causes of the breakup of romantic relationships,” writes
Hock. Delusional jealousy can trigger abuse and violence, which can (and should) be why a couple breaks up! Delusional jealousy isn’t as common as
“normal” jealousy, but both can cause serious relationship problems.
8. Ineffective communication
Both partners need to be able to share their thoughts, feelings, opinions, values, needs, frustrations, and joys. Sometimes couples avoid speaking honestly and
hide their true selves, which may not always lead to a break up…but it doesn’t strengthen their bond!
9. Control issues; If one partner is trying to control or manipulate the
other, the relationship can become weak or destructive. Controlling behaviors include checking up on the partner, name-calling, threatening the partner, requiring the partner to check in all the
time, or not allowing any deviations from the schedule. These signs of obsessive love may not cause the couple to break up, but it is a sign of an unhealthy relationship.
10. Unhealthy physical behavior;
This is an obvious relationship problem that should lead to an immediate break up. Physical, intimate, and emotional abuse are attempts to gain total
control over a partner. Though relationships like this should end immediately, couples stay together stay
for various reasons.
A man has caused a stir during a party as he miraculously resurrected his woman after giving her a kiss of life.
The man allegedly kissed his woman and brought her back to life
A Limpopo man brought his girl back to life after she had collapsed during matric dance, Mzansi reports.
It was gathered that Luvhundo Mchuni who is doing his matric at Motse Maria Secondary School in Setotolwane of South Africa is said to have refused to
let his woman cut their date short after she collapsed while dancing at the hall. The girl identified as Mary, had collapsed as they made their way to the hall
where the matric farewell was to be held.
She collapsed as a result of fatigue as she was sweating earlier and her friends had advised her to go home but she refused. Part of the reason she was
refusing was because the two had planned to get intimate for the first time after the dinner.
Mary eventually collapsed and an ambulance was called to ferry her to the hospital. However, Luvhundo
could not stomach the thought of not having intercourse that day he decided to try his luck by kissing Mary hoping she could come back to life.
Just like the princess kissing the frog or something like that.
‘The moment Luvho kissed Mary, it was like a scene from a disney movie’ , a friend narrated. Soon after getting kissed, Mary is said to have regained consciousness and the paramedics checked all her vital signs that she had shown earlier but none of them showed. She was given a clean bill and went on her matric dance. Luvhundo was interviewed and he said, ‘I had taken
some viagra earlier. I could not let my manhood down. I had to poke’

Finally New Photos of abducted Chibok Girls Surfaces, Showing Proof Of Life
CNN has obtained a video purportedly showing 15 missing Chibok girls after 2 years in Boko Haram captivity. Tagged proof of life recording, the 2 minutes
video believed to have been shot in December last year, was obtained from one of the people negotiating for the release of the girls.
The video shows some of the girls mentioning their names while a portion of the video shows some of their mothers identifying the girls.
Rifkatu Ayuba who is one of the mothers of the girls saw her 17 year old daughter Saratu for the first time after the video was shown to her “My Saratu!” she wailed, reaching out to a laptop
screen, the closest she’s been to her child in two years. “I felt like removing her from the screen. If I could, I would have removed her from the screen.”she said.
A source close to negotiations between Boko Haram and the Nigerian govt said the video was provided by.the terror group as an act of good faith.
It will be exactly 2 years tomorrow since the girls were abducted from their school, Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok in Borno state.
Robbers disguise as patients to rob hospitals in Lagos
Five suspected armed robbers who disguised as patients, have attacked a private hospital in the Shibiri, Ajangbadi
area of Lagos State, carting away valuables.
The incident occurred on Tuesday around 10pm. Three of the robbers escaped while two suspects – Babatunde Bamidele and Idowu Balogun – were apprehended and
taken to the Ajangbadi Police Division.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, who did not disclose the name of the hospital (to protect it from reprisals), confirmed the incident, saying efforts were on to apprehend the fleeing
gang members.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the five robbers had posed as patients and requested to see the doctor. It was said that Bamidele and Balogun stayed at the hospital’s gates, while one Yusuf and Ahmed, said to be among those at large, entered the doctor’s office, feigning to be patients who needed medical attention.
It was learnt that the three, however, robbed the doctor of money and phones, which they passed to the duo at the
gate. While the robbery went on, a distress call was put across by a patient to the police, and the operatives stormed the scene.
The two men at the gate were said to have been arrested, while the others fled the hospital.
Speaking with PUNCH Metro, 32-year-old Bamidele, who hails from the Lagos Island, said it was Ahmed who invited
him “for the job”, adding that he was given the doctor’s phones to keep during the operation. He denied that he entered the hospital as a patient. He said:
“I do car battery charging and rewiring on the Lagos Island. My father is a chief on the Lagos Island area. There is a cut on my stomach. I sustained it when I fell off from a motorcycle three weeks ago. That was the cut the policemen saw and said I came to the hospital as a patient.
“It was a friend, Ahmed, who invited me for this job on Tuesday. I was at a drinking joint when he came and
persuaded me to join them.
“Ahmed is a pickpocket, I will not lie. We don’t have any.gun. He had asked me to wait at the hospital gate that evening. The other suspect and I were at the gate. We did.not see the doctor who was robbed.
“When the policemen came, they whisked me and the man away in a van, but Ahmed and others escaped. I did
not know whether they disguised as patients inside the doctor’s office or not. I was not given any money.”
The second suspect, 29-year-old Balogun, who hails from Ajase, Kwara State, said, “I did not know Tunde (Bamidele) before Tuesday. He
and I were stationed at the hospital gate. It was Yusuf who invited me to come to the hospital to rob. What I usually
do is ‘sit and fire’. That means, I steal money from people’s pockets inside commercial buses.
“They said they had a job to do and they took me along.
That was the first time I would go to that hospital. I was going to run away when the police arrested me.”
The CP, Owoseni, said the suspects would be charged to court after investigations were concluded. He said: “The gang is based in the Ajangbadi area. They pretend to be patients and they attack hospitals. “One of them held his stomach when they came into that hospital, and when they were asked to come in, they began to rob the patients. Investigation is ongoing on their matter.
“A similar group pretends to be motorcycle passengers
and when the rider picks them, they spray him some substance, and he becomes unconscious. They then steal
the motorcycles. Some of them have been arrested as well.”
Revealed: Federal Government finally explains why Buhari embarks on those many foreign trips
The Federal Government has now given reasons why President Muhammadu Buhari travels outside the shores of
Nigeria frequently.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bulus Lolo, told newsmen on the sideline of
President Buhari’s visit to China that Nigerians owe him a great debt of gratitude for travelling abroad where he
deploys goodwill for the benefit of Nigerians.
Lolo maintained that those criticising the president are rather uninformed, saying Nigeria has benefited a lot from the president’s frequent trips.
“On Tuesday, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria signed an agreement with China, providing us a $5 billion
window, which is like we have added to our reserve by about five billion because any goods you buy today, either from China or elsewhere, and you want to pay, you don’t have to draw from our national reserve.
“We can use this window that has been provided. That is one advantage the president brings from his frequent
travels. “Doors were locked against Nigeria, but, now, they are putting red carpet for him to walk through, and as he walks through, Nigeria businessmen are behind him, opening new opportunities. The second advantage of Mr President’s
travels comes from the fact that he is trusted around the world. This is not a commodity you pick from a shelf in a
shop. It is personal to him, but, he is expending it for the good of the country.
“The third benefit of his travels is his integrity. Where there is trust and there is integrity, people believe you. They are
ready to do business with you,” Lolo said.
Lolo added that because the president travels, things that.Nigeria was denied are presently thrown open to the country. “Talk of three, four years ago in our fight against Boko Haram; with money in our hands, we were looking for equipment to buy, we couldn’t buy. Today, there is not a
single country that he has visited where he is not being invited to tell them what he wants to buy, including the very equipment we were denied before. It is ours to ask, and, sometimes, even at subsidised rate.
“In a nutshell, the answer is very simple: we owe him a great debt of gratitude for expending his goodwill, his integrity and trust that he enjoys…”

For the ladies: 11 Sperm Facts Every Woman Should Know
Sperm, as tiny as they are, can
affect us in a huge way. For
instance: did you know that there is anywhere from 40-400 million of those little guys in the average amount of semen produced each
time a man ejaculates? And that's just for starters . . .
1. Sperm are produced in the man's testes, and it takes 10 weeks for a single sperm to reach maturity.
2. Mature sperm can wait up to two weeks for their big day. Until then, they hang out in the epididymis — a coil like structure that runs across the top of each testicle.
3. If sperm is not ejaculated, it is broken down and reabsorbed by the body.
4. Semen only contains about 10 percent sperm — the rest consists of enzymes, vitamin C, calcium, protein, sodium, zinc, citric acid, and fructose sugar. All of these nutrients are needed to help sperm
survive and thrive.
5. While the studies on the subject are slim, there does seem to be some correlation between what men eat
and the taste of their sperm. Red meat, dairy products, onions, garlic, and coffee may not go down as sweet as foods containing natural
sugars, such as pineapple.
6. Healthy males produce about 70-150 million sperm a day — but when they ejaculate, they can lose up to
three times that amount.
7. The average man ejaculates enough semen to fill half of a teaspoon.
8. While men make millions of new sperm each and every day, the entire maturation process takes anywhere from two to three months.
9. Most sperm survive in a woman's body for about 72 hours. However, under the right conditions, it's
possible for sperm to survive for five to seven days.
10. There's such a thing as abnormal sperm : two heads, short tails, little heads, big heads – you name it, it happens.
11. There are male and female sperm. Female sperm are slower, but stronger, while the males are faster, but weaker.

NEW DEAL ALERT!!! MY NEW PEPSI DEAL
SWEETER THAN !!! 2 YEARS WITH THE BEST !! THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR CONTINUOUS BLESSING @pepsi_naija!!!
Do you hold your pee longer than you should?
t’s deeply unpleasant, and involves a lot of foot-tapping, leg-crossing, unattractive dancing around.
But what happens if you hold it in for too long? Years of regularly holding your pee in can increase your risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs) and a condition where your bladder can’t fully empty, known as urinary retention.
‘The bladder’s kind of like a pond,’ Gerald Timm, a urological researcher at the
University of Minnesota, told Popular Science ‘Not draining properly allows bacteria to build up, and that leads to
infection.’ And while it’s very, very rare that your bladder would physically burst, it’s not totally impossible – but this would only really happen if you had another pre-existing bladder condition.
For example, if someone has had cancer orbmajor surgery, or radiation in his bladder, or has had a new bladder made out of intestine and transplanted in, then the organ can rupture.
And when this does happen, it is as painful as you’d imagine.
After the bladder bursts urine will pour into the abdomen, and urgent medical treatment will be needed so that it can be drained with catheters.
Most people, however, will just wet themselves before reaching this stage. Phew
Lagos commences prosecution of 28 tax defaulters
This is a press statement from the office of the Attorney General and commissioner, Ministry of Justice, signed
by the Chief Public Affairs officer, in Lagos state, Bola Akingbade.
The Lagos State Rapid Tax Prosecution Unit has begun prosecution of recalcitrant tax payers in the State.
The State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem who disclosed this on Monday, said that The Rapid Tax Prosecution Unit has filled all the necessary information at the State High Court for the arraignment of 28 tax defaulters referred by the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) and prosecution has begun in earnest.
He said their offences ranges from failure to furnish and file tax return to failure to pay personal tax to the State.
The Lagos AG said that these offences violate the Personal Income Tax Act 2004 as amended and the Lagos State
Revenue Administration law.
“Under the Personal Income Tax Act, a taxable person is statutorily required to file a return of income for the preceding year within 90 days from the commencement of every year of assessment (March 31st being the deadline), while every employer of labour is required to file all emoluments paid to its employees for the preceding year,
not later than 31st of January each year.
“Therefore, any taxable person or corporate organization, who fails to file their tax returns with LIRS by the stipulated date, is in breach of the provisions of the law, which is a
criminal offence that is punishable under the tax laws.” Kazeem said.
He said that the Lagos State Government established the Rapid Tax Prosecution Unit to aid the LIRS in its drive to
collect taxes, and warned members of the public to cooperate with tax officers as obstruction of these tax
officers in their lawful duty can and will lead to prosecution.
Kazeem said the enforcement of the tax laws became necessary because a large number of Lagosians have not
paid their taxes. He said tax evaders and offenders, upon prosecution, may
be fined or imprisoned or made to face both as provided in the Personal Income Tax Act.
